We officially kicked off our summer with a great team of clergy and leaders from churches across the North District of the Indiana United Methodist Church. The group, which was led by North District Superintendent Larry Whitehead, came with the central focus of spending their week learning about the various aspects of Mission Guatemala's health, nutrition, and education initiatives.

During their week with us, the team had the opportunity to visit our full-time lunch and snack programs, as well as some of the schools in our "Como Saludable" Wednesday lunch program. They also visited many of the various communities where Mission Guatemala volunteer teams have worked over the past years and, in addition, the group helped to advance construction of the "Casa de Maestro" (House of the Teacher) project in San Andrés!

We're grateful to the team from the Indiana North District United Methodist Churches for taking the time to learn more about Mission Guatemala's programs, and for working alongside us to "do all the good we can" in the communities of San Andrés Semetebaj and beyond!

¡Muchas gracias!
