August with Mission Guatemala!

Today we’re sharing pictures of our August volunteer teams and the amazing impact they made during their time with us this summer!

We had the privilege of reuniting with old friends—and of making many new ones—as we welcomed groups from Otterbein UMC in Hagerstown, Maryland; Saint Joseph UMC in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Assurance UMC in Huntersville, North Carolina; and Blaine Memorial UMC in Seattle, Washington.

These hard working folks came from across the US to carry on the work at Mission Guatemala's newest construction project in the community of Chuisajcap, where we're building a soccer and basketball court at the local elementary school!

In addition to the construction work, we were also excited to have members of the crew from Blaine Memorial UMC provide much-needed dental services to patients in several rural communities and also at our clinic in San Andrés Semetabaj!

We're thankful to each member of these wonderful groups for their support of Mission Guatemala and for their selfless service to our brothers and sisters across the San Andrés area.

As hard as it is to say goodbye, we know that it's not "adios," but "hasta pronto!" We're grateful to ALL of the amazing teams who made this summer one for the books. THANK YOU!
